Mainfreight Service Announcement | Hume Hwy Road Closure between Melbourne and Sydney | Feb 2019

Please be advised there has been an accident on the Hume Highway, a major arterial road between Melbourne and Sydney.
The Hume Hwy (near Yerrinbool.) has been closed since early this morning (around 5am) affecting all traffic northbound (traveling from Melbourne to Sydney). Cars are being diverted along the Old Hume Highway but larger vehicles including our line-haul units are at a standstill. This will cause significant delays in our inbound linehaul services.
