Service Announcement - NSW Severe Weather | October 2014
Please be advised Sydney is experiencing adverse weather conditions that began last night and has continued through to this morning. This severe weather has caused some disruption and affected our transport of some cargo.
Overnight all 3 terminals ceased operations leading to congestion at Port Botany. Once the terminals re-open we will be making every effort to minimise the effect on operations, but delays will be unavoidable. Please pay extra attention to your dates to avoid any additional detention charges.
Sydney's airport was closed overnight as winds shut down any chance of planes landing. The airport has now reopened but is advising there will be diversions throughout the day.
The severe weather included snow falling throughout the Orange and Bathurst area leading to some roads being closed. We will be making every attempt to move this freight into the region tonight.
We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time and should you require any additional information pertaining to any of the above, please feel free to contact your Sales or Customer Service Representative.
